lol, you can tell I'm excited.

Yes, today is the big day. UK are performing second of 25. Waiting - in half an hour Scott and Charlie will arrive and we can get started. The show kicks off at 8:00. I'll update tomorrow.

Anyway, today was all about football - playoffs and cup finals.

Firstly, the Scottish Cup Final. In slight consolation to their UEFA cup and league defeat, Rangers took the title, beating Queen of the South 2-3. It was all square at 2-2 at one point.. must've been a close match.

Secondly, Bristol City will stay a Championship team next season after Hull City beat them 1-0 to go into the Premier League. I think Hull will likely finish bottom but you never know.

So, I'll get the day's news out of the way.

Ban-Ki-Moon has been everywhere this week... sounds like a very sarcastic headline eh? Praised by a ban?

I'll have to close up here, preparations must be made etc etc.

OK, back, I'll get the finishing positions up.

1st was Russia
2nd Ukraine
3rd Greece

Joint 23rd was UK, Germany and Poland

So we failed again, surprise surprise. 8 points from Ireland and 6 from San Marino kept us from Nil Pointe, but Ireland also awarded Poland 10 and stopped us from getting 23rd outright. I suppose we should thank them really.
