Well, since it's the first post I'll make it a good one. Get your attention, raar. I'm not gonna introduce maself too much, you either know who I am or you'll want to find out and will come back.
Soo, I'll get on with the day's activities. Man, my typing isn't good at this time.
Umm, got up went to school was bored mostly. it's a Wk2 Wed, so it's all Art here and Music there - great fun. [/sarcasm]. You may notice that I like sarcasm...
Oh, yeah, today. Well I did very little all day, just getting by with minimum work. Oh, finished the technology project - mp3 player - which was supposed to be in the shape promoting a local company. I went for GCHQ - yeah, not really a company but meh, and it turned out looking like a doughnut so I painted it black, because everyone likes black doughnuts.
That reminded me to get it out of my bag and put it on my desk, which achieved very little and was mostly pointless, but you never know, it may be important later.
Anyway, after technology was lunch I think... I'm right, and it was deeply depressing. Cameron wasn't there so no tennis ball, had he remembered it, so we decided to descend upon the game of football involving a small Ronaldinho or however you spell it (It is right XD) football, which has half inflated and falling to pieces. Jordan, Ben and Will, being the mature, intelligent and fair people we like so much, decided that it was them versus me, Charlie and Scott. We agreed, and so it began, and they started like we thought they would, getting hot around the collar at every tackle. They seriously need to lighten up.
Anyway, it came to a goal kick, which I took. We were playing honestly about 5 metres from the fence of the field, and it was a matter of time before it got kicked over, but who would it be? Life's a lottery! XD
Anyway, this goal kick was taken in the style I use, leaning to the left and rolling it slightly down my leg before impact. This style gets best results with a large ball but it's slight skewed with a small ball like we were using. I caught it slightly too low, sending it higher than expected and sailing over said fence.
Of course, it's a complete accident. The ball was deflated and I mis-kicked it, and it only went higher than the fence by about 6 inches, but Benjamin immediately jumped to the pre-decided conclusion that I'd done it deliberately. Whilst I, in true sportsmanship, explained that it was an accident, he went for the footballer line by squaring up to me and demanding a fight. I would've given him one, quite honestly, but he must've seen exactly who he was going for and sensibly backed down.
Then they did all the 'Oh well you can just climb over' which is just rude and basically stupid. There's no foothold on the other side and if it was my garden I wouldn't want kids climbing into it.
So Charlie then, sensibly, decided it was time to go and myself and Scott followed suit, leaving the other three to look for it. We headed back to Jubilee Gardens (a covered area) and sort of 'hung around' for the remainder of lunchtime. Until, of course, the other three decided to reappear and demand compensation. I said no, so Caveman Will tapped his thick skull and decided to attack me, in a very manly way. I pulled his hand off my hair before he could get into rage mode, and I was dragged away by a very calm Charlie, who also sensibly decided to move me out of the area, although it seemed different at the time. The bell rang at the right moment, and I headed for IT whilst Will took the long way to avoid me.
I arrived home and switched the computer on, and after about an hour Scott gave me this little gem of a line, sent to him from Will:
'Bob had better avoid me if he wants to stay alive'
Well, that's pretty laughable, and I told him so. Will's now managed to get himself in trouble with every single one of his usual contacts and has no-one to talk to, since he blocked them all. I'm sure he has fun every time he gets home.
Anyway, I then spent a constructive afternoon working on the new avatar set for Yusoh (my RPG) which were finished in good time. I then had a failed battle with Ataxia - a disconnection ruined what was shaping up to be pretty close. I was all for a rematch but it had reached about half 5, and I was needed to go and lock up. On returning, it was teatime, and I didn't get a chance to return. Once full, I had to go to a meeting of the Battlefields Trip - a trip I'm on in the summer. It started at 6 and we were there a little bit early. Met up with Scott on the way, and said hello to Adam when we got inside.
I arrived home at quarter past 7, give or take. It was disco night at school, meaning that MSN was fairly empty. I didn't mind too much - I talked to a few people from Yusoh before getting kicked off at 8:15 by an extremely stressy and anxious sister - I never knew bebo could be so urgent...
So, to kill time I headed downstairs and watched a fairly rubbish show with my mum about how Britain's children are getting worse etc etc the usual rubbish, slagging off computers and promoting trampolines. The only funny moment I had during it was when they were interviewing a boy in his room and he had Arsenal posters up - I agree, children nowadays have something wrong with them. XD
After that I watched The Apprentice - Week #9. They were making and selling a tissue brand, one called 'Atishu' and the other 'I love my Tissues'. Atishu won, which was funny because they performed extremely badly and their TV ad was awful. The other team lost because they didn't mention tissues enough...
This took it to 10pm, and I went upstairs. I wanted to watch the news but as usual my parents decided that my room was and extension of the corridor and walked in whenever they liked. I'd soon given up and read a book, before getting bored and going to bed. I headed through to my brother's room to help him with a game - he'd got to a puzzle stage that had confused him, and I sorted it out. Back to bed. Then the parents arrived upstairs once again and did their usual rant about security and how comfortable they felt about computers - the poor defenceless machines get a bad deal. After a shouting match: My Brother v Parents, it fell quiet and I headed off to sleep.
Anyway, that's the account of the day done, now I'll go through my opinions of the day's news. If that's OK, and you're still reading.
Well, the big news of the day was the Champion's League Final, Manchester United v Chelsea. I didn't actually watch the match, but got the results later on.
Normal Time: 1-1
Extra Time: 1-1
Penalty Shoot-Out: 6-5
A win for Manchester Utd on penalties. Ronaldo opened the scoring in the first half, with a free header directed into the net to put his side in front. On the stroke of half time Lampard got an equaliser for the London team, loose ball in the box floated over Van Der Sar and into the net for 1-1.
No goals in the second half, so extra time was issued. Being that Man U beat Chelsea to the title things were always gonna get hot, and they exploded. An incident involving Tevez, Evra and Drogba ended with Tevez booked and Drogba sent off. He'd been poor all night and this iced his cake. As it looked like penalties, substitutions were made.
The shootout proceeded as expected, no misses until Ronaldo hit one straight at Cech, leaving Chelsea in the driving seat. In fact, Terry had a chance to hit a winner. He 'slipped' and hit the post, blaming the pitch. With it all square once again, Man U weren't going to slip up again and 3 penalties later, the cup was theirs.
My opinion: Man U deserved the win. Call me what you like, they played better football and in the end they nearly lost it. They generally kept their cool during the heated stages and ended the night as sportsmen. Chelsea had tantrums and acted like babies.
In other news, nothing really, so I'll sign off here at '7931' Zeichen. See you again next time.
